Just what exactly is Late Night Guitar? Glad you asked...we've worked hard to create this brief answer:
Late Night Guitar is...a beautiful, timeless all-original, all-instrumental guitar-based lullaby styled CD. It features warm and tender nylon string guitar as the lead instrument with flute, oboe, cello and piano accompaniment. It is quiet and relaxing. It is warm, lush and melodic. It is a completely digital recording and it celebrates the performance of all acoustic instruments. It is recorded and packaged beautifully - for gifting (hint, hint), i.e. the CD/Jewel Case is packaged in a 4-color cardboard overwrap for safekeeping. And, proudly, it is a successful independent release that reached #2 on the contemporary instrumental charts and won the Children's Web Award in the 'Classic Recording for Children' category.
That being said, it is also refreshingly new, and dare we say quite a wonderful break from the thousands of lullaby CD releases out there that simply re-record "Brahms Lullaby" and "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" over and over again! Actually...to introduce all-new, all-original guitar compositions to the world is not an easy task (case in point: Composer Tom Salvatori claims to have a recurring nightmare of finally getting up to the pearly gates of heaven someday only to be greeted by a kick to the shins from both Brahms and Mozart)!...so, we really appreciate your visit...your open-mindedness to new music...and your well-respected quest to hear something...anything...other than Brahm's Lullaby!
